The warranty excludes physical damage, abuse, and normal usage battery capacity loss. The capacity of all batteries diminishes over time, and this depends on how they are used and environmental conditions. E.g. Excessive heat or too high of discharge or charge rate beyond rated specifications is detrimental to batteries.
